We are seeking an experienced General Manager, Technology Services & Delivery to lead a large-scale technology function supporting nationally significant digital services. This role provides an opportunity to shape the future of enterprise technology, drive AI adoption, strengthen cyber resilience and lead high-performing technology teams delivering services within the health & technology space.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Executive, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team with end-to-end accountability for platform operations, security posture and technology delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver enterprise technology roadmaps aligned with strategic priorities.
- Lead platform engineering, operations and technology service delivery across a complex enterprise environment.
- Strengthen cyber security, operational resilience and business continuity capability.
- Drive responsible AI adoption to improve productivity, quality and delivery outcomes across the technology function.
- Establish disciplined portfolio governance, release management and delivery practices.
- Make strategic decisions on architecture, build-versus-buy, sourcing models and technology investment.
- Build high-performing leadership teams, foster accountability and develop future capability.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to provide trusted technology advice and translate technical issues into commercial outcomes.
You are an accomplished technology executive with a proven record of leading enterprise technology functions in complex, highly regulated environments.
We are keen to speak to candidates who can demonstrate the following knowledge and experience;
- Executive-level experience as a General Manager, CIO, CTO or equivalent technology leader.
- Demonstrated success leading engineering, operations, cyber security and enterprise technology delivery.
- Experience managing large technology portfolios, operational and capital budgets, and strategic investment decisions.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud platforms, operational resilience and modern engineering practices.
- Experience implementing AI capability within enterprise technology teams.
- Deep understanding of cyber security governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Commercial acumen across sourcing, supplier management and technology investment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage executives, boards and government stakeholders.
- A collaborative leadership style with a passion for building capable, high-performing teams.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, computer science, engineering, information systems or a related discipline
- Experience within digital health, government, financial services, critical infrastructure or other highly regulated environments
- Postgraduate qualifications in business, technology leadership or management (such as an MBA), along with ongoing professional development in AI, cyber security or digital transformation
