Job description
We are seeking an experienced EL1 Assistant Director, Communications Programs to work within a federal government agency, responsible for supporting the work plan for this financial year.
In this role you will provide flexible and responsive communication and marketing services to various project teams, ensuring that messages are consistent, accurate and aligned with its strategic objectives and stakeholder needs.
You will also provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on effective communications and marketing requirements and will support the marketing strategy planning, management and production of communications outcomes, contributing to building reputation and profile as a leader in digital health innovation.

This is a contract opportunity for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for further extensions, and can be based in Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney, with great flexible hybrid working options.

- Presenting ideas and recommending final deliverables to internal and external teams
- Communicating with senior leaders about marketing programs, strategies and budgets
- Identifying effectiveness and impact of current marketing initiatives using tracking and analysis and benefits realisation forecasts accordingly
- Delivering a program of work within the account service model, the agreed timeframe, budget and governance framework
