Pinpoint Talent's NSW State Government client is seeking an experienced Business Engagement Manager to join on a 6 month contract.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
This role acts as the main point of contact for divisions, working closely with stakeholders to understand and address their needs. It guides clients in defining their data and analytics requirements, supports the planning and execution of related projects, and helps implement data services more efficiently - often organizing “discovery sessions” to identify challenges and improvement opportunities.

Role Responsibilities:
- Serve as the key liaison for service delivery across multiple divisions, providing expert advice on analytics strategy and roadmaps.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify and prioritize use cases aligned with future cluster outcomes.
- Collaborate within cluster-wide councils to prioritize analytics projects and communicate their value and feasibility.
- Translate business requirements into effective data and analytics solutions alongside domain experts and technical teams.
- Lead the design and delivery of analytics capabilities across hub and spoke teams.
- Help develop business cases for new data investments and ensure sustainable funding for ongoing innovation.
- Define, track, and report metrics demonstrating the operational impact and value of analytics initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and wellbeing-focused team environment.
- Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships and delivering customer-focused data solutions within a Government environment.
- Strong understanding of data and analytics strategies and their application to business decisions.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to lead discovery and co-design sessions.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and align work with strategic government outcomes.
