Job description
We are seeking an EL1 Change Manager to lead the development of a change strategy, and provide subject matter expertise in regard to the capability uplift with a government agency. You will be involved in developing and implementing change interventions, change related communications, reporting, participating in program governance, achieving program deliverables and milestones and managing program risks and issues.
You will support the Director and be responsible for a range of critical deliverables to support all phases of this program, and be responsible for leading a team of experts and support staff to deliver this complex, multi-year project, as well as reporting to Executive.
Required skills & experience
This role is Canberra based, offering some hybrid and / or remote options.
To be considered for this role you must be an Australian citizen with an NV1 security clearance. Applications from candidates that do not have this level of security clearance cannot be considered.

Required skills & experience
- Strong change management and implementation background, with experience in change strategy and providing advice and support on the delivery of change interventions to support program deliverables.
- Ability to provide executive level oversight and decision making.
- Experience in establishing change methodologies including reporting would be highly considered.
- Proven experience in working in culturally sensitive projects or operations.
- Exceptional ability to mentor and uplift capability with key team members, providing sound advice and direction with change methodologies and outcomes to sustain long term change.
- Well-developed capacity for collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong critical analysis and decision-making abilities particularly with new areas of work to assess risk and proposed solutions.
- Broad understanding of passport services, identity verification and systems, would also be highly desired.
- Experience with procurement and contract management also highly desired.
