Job description
Pinpoint Talent's NSW State Government client is seeking a highly capable Project Manager for a six-month contract to deliver a range of residential capital and compliance upgrade projects across New South Wales. This role is ideal for candidates with prior government experience and a background in managing complex residential upgrades in a client-side capacity.

About the Role
The Project Manager will oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent projects focused on residential property upgrades, ensuring quality outcomes aligned with project scope, timeframes, and budget. This role involves end-to-end project management responsibilities including planning, procurement, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple capital works and compliance upgrade projects.
- Manage project lifecycles from initiation through to completion, including stakeholder consultation and risk mitigation.
- Oversee tendering and contract administration in accordance with government procurement standards.
- Monitor project performance and prepare regular reports for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements across all phases of project delivery.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, architecture, building, surveying, project management or a related construction field.
- Demonstrated experience managing residential capital and compliance upgrade projects, within the NSW Government or a similar public sector environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity and scale.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Sound understanding of procurement, contract administration, and project risk management.
