Job description

Our NSW State Government client is seeking a Digital Content Specialist to join on an initial 3 month contract with possibility of extension.

Digital Content Specialist | $650 per day + super | Initial 3 month contract | Sydney CBD / WFH Hybrid | NSW State Government
 
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage day-to-day content uploading across a variety of platforms.
    Assist staff in the use of the Drupal CMS and publishing of content on the Library website and Intranet.
  • Coordinate content requests and content production schedule.
  • Develop, create and publish content across all digital channels.
  • Prepare digital content assets for the different audiences and purposes on the State Library websites ensuring all content meets best practice and accessibility standards
  • Prepare training guides and provide coaching and feedback to team members on the creation and publishing of digital content in a collaborative and constructive manner
  • General administrative tasks relating to the team
Essential knowledge, skills and experience
  • Experience with content management systems (Drupal) and content platforms such as websites, social media.
  • Experience coordinating the collation of content assets for websites, applications and search interfaces.
  • Experience producing digital content for different audiences, within existing brand and styles guidelines, and optimised content for SEO and accessibility.
  • Demonstrated web content writing practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Experience with working with teams of people, and coordinating work.
