Our NSW State Government client is seeking a Full Stack Drupal Developer to join on an initial 3 month contract with possibility of extension.

Full Stack Drupal Developer | $850 per day + super | Initial 3 month contract | Sydney CBD / WFH Hybrid | NSW State Government

 
About The Role:
Work across the full application stack, from front-end templates to back-end scripting and everything in between.

  • Assist with build of a new Drupal 10 websites:
    > Site building and configuration.
    > Translate designs into custom Drupal themes following responsive design principles
    > Develop scripts, tools and templates to leverage APIs for system and website integration
    > Debugging and testing and website builds (unit, functional, integration, performance)
    > Follow W3C accessibility standards for all site building and theming
    > Implement Google Analytics tracking code.
  • Work collaboratively with Digital Channels team for code review, pull requests and development workflow.
  • Documentation of all development work, bugs, issues and solutions.
Key Knowledge and Experience:
  • Significant experience in front-end development and theming, including experience in HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Javascript and Bootstrap
  • Significant experience developing tools and applications using PHP
  • Minimum 3 years development experience with Drupal 9, 10
  • Significant experience in Drupal website building and customisation, including development of content types, themes and templates
  • Experience with Composer-based workflows for Drupal
  • Experience with Javascript frontend frameworks such as Angular, React, Vue.js desirable
  • Experience with producing and consuming REST APIs (JSON and XML)
  • Experience with Node.js and related website build systems (eg. Gulp, Grunt, Webpack)
  • Experience using Docker and Docker Compose
  • Experience with CI/CD systems; Jenkins, CircleCI nice to have
  • Experience working with Figma Git and GitHub, JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience using agile processes and working collaboratively with development teams for code review, pull requests and development workflows
