Job description

Pinpoint Talent is seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support Manager to support a major Defence maritime acquisition program. This contract role sits within a complex shipbuilding and sustainment environment and supports delivery of critical capability for Australia’s littoral manoeuvre operations.

6 month contract + potential extension | Canberra | NV1 or above required

The role supports Phase 2 of a large multi-phase landing craft program and is responsible for leading all aspects of Integrated Logistics Support from early support system design through to delivery. You will work closely with engineering, configuration, GFE, sustainment and governance stakeholders to ensure support products are aligned with technical baselines, approval requirements and whole-of-life sustainment outcomes.

You will be accountable for developing materiel logistics strategies and integrated logistics concepts, leading and coordinating ILS teams, reviewing and assuring contractor deliverables, conducting assurance of Logistics Support Analysis and related support products, and supporting governance through Integrated Project Teams and cross-functional working groups. The role also provides expert input into project management and technical reviews, including advice on ILS risks, issues and mitigation strategies, and supports the transition of assets from acquisition into service.

Candidates must hold an active NV1 security clearance and demonstrate strong experience in acquisition ILS, in-service logistics, sustainment or asset management environments. Proven experience in the application and management of Logistics Support Analysis is essential, along with an understanding of the relationship between ILS, LSA and Test and Evaluation or Verification and Validation activities. An engineering degree is desirable but not essential for candidates with demonstrated senior practitioner experience and relevant training.

This is an opportunity to contribute to a nationally significant Defence maritime capability program, offering long-term contract potential and meaningful impact within a complex acquisition environment.
