Job description

Pinpoint Talent is seeking a Logistics & Asset Coordinator to support a key federal government client's security division on a 12 month contract. This key role is responsible for coordinating logistics and maintaining security equipment stock levels for global operations. You will contribute to the successful delivery of security asset refresh programs across the client’s international network. The role requires a high level of independence, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and maintaining security equipment stock levels, including procurement support.
  • Coordinating deliveries, offsite storage, and shipments to domestic and international locations.
  • Maintaining the security asset database, including tracking equipment in storage and overseas.
  • Conducting stocktakes and audits of equipment inventory.
  • Ensuring effective customer service and communication with stakeholders.
  • Supporting project and operational documentation, group mailbox management, and filing.
  • Performing additional logistics duties as directed by the Project Manager.
Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working with minimal supervision, including in high-pressure settings.
Desirable Experience:
  • Understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules and processes.
