We are seeking an experienced Messaging Engineer to support mission-critical Defence IT systems, working within deployed and secure environments on a large-scale ICT modernisation program.

12 month contract, potential extension
NV2 Security Clearance required
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialist messaging support to mission-critical ICT systems.
• Maintain system functionality in degraded environments (DDIL).
• Ensure configurations comply with Defence ICT security protocols.
• Manage and support messaging infrastructure across distributed environments.
• Integrate ICT applications and software with messaging systems.
• Manage user accounts and ensure smooth system access.
• Collaborate with partner teams to resolve incidents.

  
Skills & Experience:

• NV2 Security Clearance required.
• Experience in a Messaging Support or Messaging Technician position.
• Experience working in Defence environments.
• Strong knowledge of Exchange, Active Directory, Message Transfer Agents, Skype, and XMPP chat tools.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
