About the Role
  
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to support a major Defence capability program of work. This role combines network design and hands-on implementation, working across multiple sub-projects that vary in size and complexity.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development of robust, secure, and scalable network solutions, supporting critical Defence capabilities.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Develop network system designs, technical specifications, and overall architectures
• Define and document network topologies, configuration databases, and detailed design documentation
• Plan and support infrastructure refreshes and upgrade activities
• Assist with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of network equipment
• Work collaboratively across multiple Defence sub-projects simultaneously
• Ensure designs and implementations align with Defence standards, policies, and security requirements

  
Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in network engineering, covering both design and implementation
• Strong understanding of enterprise network architectures and technologies
• Experience producing high-quality technical documentation
• Ability to work across multiple projects in a complex program environment
• Experience in Defence or other high-security environments is highly regarded

  
Security Requirement

• TSPV clearance is mandatory OR have held one in the last 12- months.
