Pinpoint Talent is supporting a Defence client in seeking an experienced Project Manager (Logistics) to join a highly complex, developmental capability program within Army Headquarters in Canberra.

This role sits supports the delivery of a project critical to Army’s future logistics capability and involves the delivery of autonomous heavy-lift UAS platforms capable of operating across extended ranges and regulatory boundaries.

Canberra | 3+ year contract | NV1 Clearance or above Mandatory

The position will be providing hands-on program and project management support across planning, delivery, documentation, and stakeholder coordination. You will work closely with the Director of Logistics Plans and the team to manage schedule, cost, risk, resources, and performance against key developmental milestones within an ASDEFCON contract framework.

You will contribute to the development of project strategies, plans, schedules, estimates, and work breakdown structures, monitor project performance, and implement corrective actions where required. The role includes preparation of briefings, submissions, reports, and approvals documentation, as well as coordination of stakeholder engagement across ADF, APS, Defence industry, and technical authorities.

Experience in Defence project management environments is essential, along with strong capability in risk management, schedule and cost control, stakeholder engagement, and delivery of complex developmental projects. Familiarity with Defence logistics concepts, Defence Capability Life Cycle, ASDEFCON contract management, and test and evaluation activities is highly desirable.
