We are seeking an experienced EL1 Project Manager, EPMO to support with planning, leadership and management of projects and project teams for this federal government agency.
  
In this role you will be responsible for defining and managing the requirements, scope and the end-to-end delivery of projects ensuring compliance with the Agency’s project management framework, policies and procedures.
  
Required skills & experience

• Demonstrated ability to apply strong project management expertise and knowledge to delivering digital projects and ensuring adherence to Agency frameworks

• Proficient in managing projects using various methodologies such as waterfall, agile and a hybrid of both

• Highly adept at managing project schedules, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies to project completion

• Strong stakeholder management, engagement and collaboration across suppliers, other government bodies and cross-functional teams in a matrix organisation

• Ability to respond flexibly to changing demands and be comfortable leading one or more project team/s in times of uncertainty

• Extensive understanding of government policies, processes and compliance requirements and its impact for project delivery

• Project Management qualifications and/or tertiary qualifications and/or 5+ years applying project management skills and knowledge on medium to large projects

• Certification in PRINCE2/PRINCE 2 Agile and PMP and experience in public service are highly desirable
