Job description
Pinpoint Talent's Federal Government Client is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join the department's National Program Delivery team on a 12 month contract contributing to the effective delivery of the Medicines Safety Program.
As Project Manager, you will play a central role in coordinating complex and sensitive projects across the medicines safety domain. You will work under broad direction and be responsible for managing multiple workstreams, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and ensuring the successful delivery of project outcomes aligned with the department's strategic objectives.
Sydney, Brisbane or Canberra locations
12 month contract

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end project management of national programs in accordance with the Agency’s frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Lead, guide and develop a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality results in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex issues and drive project outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives across the division.
- Apply sound judgement and decision-making to manage competing priorities, project risks and operational challenges.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering complex projects in the public sector, health, or digital technology environments.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive or high-profile issues.
- Proven ability to work under broad direction while managing strategic and operational objectives.
- Excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
