Pinpoint Talent’s Defence client is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Subject Matter Expert to support the digital integration of complex networked systems across multi-domain platforms. The role involves providing specialist advice to optimise system-of-systems interoperability and ensure emerging and legacy platforms are effectively integrated within broader Defence capabilities.

Canberra | 2-year contract + extensions | NV1 or above Clearance Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and integration expertise to support system-of-systems design, requirements analysis, and digital interoperability.
• Analyse integration requirements across multiple platforms, ensuring alignment with capability frameworks and lifecycle governance.
• Develop and maintain technical design artefacts, baselines, and mission threads to support capability planning and delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, capability managers, and stakeholders to advise on integration risks, solutions, and implementation approaches.
• Lead and contribute to workshops, technical forums, and advisory engagements with executive and technical teams.
• Identify opportunities to assess and integrate emerging technologies to support future-ready capabilities.

Deliverables

• Detailed technical integration advice and solution documentation.
• Reports and recommendations for capability managers and project teams.
• Contributions to system design, baseline artefacts, and integration knowledge bases.
• Facilitation of stakeholder forums and technical workshops.

Essential Requirements

• Demonstrated experience on Defence projects involving weapons or combat systems, with a focus on Land domain programs
• Proven experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or digital integration roles.
• Strong understanding of system-of-systems architectures and interoperability frameworks.
• AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance or above.
